Job Requirements

  • Must have high end resort experience
  • must relocate to South Carolina
  • culinary degree or equivalent experience
  • proven track record in fine dining kitchens
  • strong understanding of procurement and kitchen management systems

  • Minimum five years experience as chef de cuisine
  • experience in upscale dining culinary settings

Job Duties

  • Designs and implements menus
  • develops recipes
  • ensures dishes meet quality and presentation standards
  • hires, trains, and manages kitchen staff including sous chefs and junior cooks

  • ensures quality and consistency of all meals served
  • orders and purchases food supplies and equipment
