Currently, the Grandover Resort & Spa is seeking a dedicated and skilled cook to join the team at the Finial Restaurant. This role demands an ambitious and hardworking individual who thrives in a team-oriented workplace, committed to maintaining the high standards for which the resort is known. The position operates from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, and availability on weekends and holidays is required, reflecting the dynamic nature of the hospitality industry where exceptional service and culinary excellence are expected every day. The cook will be responsible for preparing a variety of dishes including main courses, appetizers, desserts, and snacks, strictly following the chef’s recipes and guidelines to ensure consistency and quality.
The ideal candidate will be well-versed in various cooking techniques and food safety regulations, capable of setting up, cleaning, and stocking the kitchen prep station efficiently to support a smooth workflow. Collaboration with kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely and accurate order completion is a key aspect of the job, highlighting the importance of communication and teamwork within the restaurant's operations. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Availability to work weekends and holidays
- Ability to work from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm
- Ability to work collaboratively with chef and kitchen staff
- Maintain calmness and consistency under pressure
- Willingness to comply with food safety and hygiene regulations
- Physical ability to perform kitchen duties
Job Qualifications
- Experience in cooking in a professional kitchen
- Ability to work effectively under pressure

Job Duties
- Set up clean and stock kitchen prep station
- Measure weigh cut and mix ingredients according to recipes
- Prepare food and cook main dishes desserts appetizers and snacks
- Plate arrange and garnish dishes based on the chef's guidance
- Work with servers to ensure orders are completed timely and accurately
- Wash and clean the kitchen and cooking utensils
- Store equipment at the end of shift
- Follow food safety standards and regulations to ensure proper operating procedures and hygiene
