The position available is for a Cook who will play a vital role in the culinary team by coordinating menu item preparation and production according to Cliff Castle Casino Hotel's exacting specifications and standards. The role involves supervising and performing various kitchen duties essential for smooth daily operations. This includes participation in pre-opening checks, kitchen cleaning, as well as the timely preparation and serving of food orders to guests. The Cook will also be responsible for managing proper food storage and rotation to ensure freshness and safety. An important part of the role is maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen and food preparation areas, supporting health and safety protocols, and contributing to a productive team environment.
Ideal candidates will have at least one year of professional cooking experience, preferably in a fine dining setting. They must be 18 years or older, available for all shifts including weekends and holidays, and willing to cultivate a professional and friendly guest service atmosphere. Food handler and alcohol service certifications are required or must be obtained promptly upon hiring. Candidates must also meet employment eligibility requirements for the United States, pass a drug test and background check in compliance with Arizona Gaming License regulations, and adhere strictly to all Cliff Castle Casino Hotel policies. Job Requirements

Job Duties
- Coordinate perform or supervise pre-opening line check opening procedures kitchen cleaning and closing procedures
- Coordinate and perform all pre-dinner prep set-up restocking of cooler safe food storage and rotation
- Prepare food and expedite tickets with food servers to property serve each course in a timely manner
- Assist with maintaining the overall cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and food preparation work areas
- Perform other duties as assigned
