The Bartender will play a key role in delivering exemplary service by efficiently mixing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and brand standards. This position requires adherence to safety, sanitation regulations, and company policies to ensure a clean and compliant working environment. Beyond beverage preparation, the Bartender is responsible for managing cash transactions with accuracy, resolving customer complaints amicably, and promoting strong customer relations which contribute to repeat business. The role demands an upbeat, outgoing demeanor and the ability to maintain the appearance of the bar and lounge areas in a spotless, functional condition. Compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, internal control protocols, and operational procedures is paramount. The ideal candidate will have sound knowledge of beverage preparation, food and beverage sanitation, cash handling, and be adept in using point of sale and liquor dispensing systems. Job Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred
Technical school or formal apprenticeship may be required
Knowledge and skills needed to safely prepare and serve alcoholic beverages in accordance with internal policies and external regulations and or laws
Knowledge, skills, and abilities to work with personal computers, point of sale systems, liquor dispensing systems, cash, etc
Knowledgeable in food and beverage sanitation, guest service, cash control policies, practices, and protocols
Ability to work effectively with peers, staff members, and regulatory agency personnel
Strong written and oral communication skills
Ability to solve problems and deal with a variety of situations where only limited standardization exists
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
Must be able to pass a background check and receive a license or permit from any regulatory

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

Mix and serve alcoholic beverages and or non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and procedures
Follows all operating procedures, safety and sanitation regulations and departmental policies and procedures
Accurately handling various forms of cash transactions, decision-making, problem solving, complaint resolution, and customer service
Ensures appearance of bar and lounge are maintained in a clean and functional manner
Demonstrates an upbeat and outgoing demeanor while on duty
Ensures compliance with all applicable regulations, laws, internal policies procedures, and internal control protocols
Promotes outstanding customer relations
Performs other related duties as may be assigned
