Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field
  • Minimum 4 years of professional finance experience in a similar role
  • Experience working with large volumes of transactional data
  • Knowledge of settlement processes in ticket sales or event reconciliations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
  • Ability to handle month-end close responsibilities under deadlines

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field
  • 4+ years of professional finance experience in a comparable role
  • Experience accessing, compiling, and analyzing large transactional data sets into actionable insights
  • Experience in live events, ticketing, or entertainment industry finance
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel including formulas, pivot tables, and financial modeling
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle
  • Familiarity with BI and reporting tools such as Domo and BusinessObjects
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate complex financial data effectively
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Job Duties

  • Prepare and post manual journal entries for various settlement adjustments or fixed cash payments including volume incentives, signing bonuses, sponsorship and advertising allowances
  • Perform financial analysis including investigating royalty variances, summarizing data and distributing findings to relevant teams
  • Assist with month-end close process by posting accruals for contracts with prior period adjustments, unsigned contracts, and other necessary accruals
  • Process manual client settlements to ensure alignment with contract terms and payment schedules for Ticketmaster managed box offices
  • Maintain and update advanced rebate recoupable schedules and timely reporting with weekly distribution to Finance Directors
  • Provide analysis and reporting using BI tools
  • Maintain chargeback reports and process client deductions
  • Provide ad hoc support and reporting as needed by Finance leadership
  • Contribute to ongoing finance and settlement activities
  • Work standard hours Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm with flexibility required for month-end and holiday shifts including evenings and weekends
