Job Requirements
- Florida Paramedic certification in good standing
- Current National Registry certification if required by state
- Current certifications CPR: BLS, ACLS, PCC/PALS
- Valid state specific Drivers license
- Ventilator certified every three years
- Successful completion of a comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Ability to safely lift and move up to 180 pounds frequently and up to 300 pounds occasionally with assistance
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent qualification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the EMS field preferred
- State specific Paramedic license in good standing or current NREMT certification if required by state
- Current CPR certifications: BLS, ACLS, PCC/PALS
- Valid state specific Drivers license
- Successful completion of a comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Strong people skills and proven ability to collaborate within a team
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ventilator certified every three years
- Successful completion of a written and practical exam
- FEMA IS certs: IS-100, IS-200, IS-700, IS-800
Job Duties
- Conduct patient care from an ambulance
- Supervise day-to-day field operation employees in the absence of senior management
- Ensure field employees have required equipment to perform duties
- Serve as liaison for field staff to other departments
- Prepare reports regarding mechanical breakdowns, accident investigations, exposures, and daily shift activities
- Ensure employee adherence to AmeriPro EMS policies, procedures, guidelines, and standards
- Respond to scenes and assume command during Mass Casualty Incidents until senior management arrives
