Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum two years of janitorial supervisor experience preferred
  • Demonstrated team management experience
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to work first shift from 6am to 2:30pm
  • Capability to patrol and oversee large physical areas such as terminals and cargo areas
  • Basic computer skills for administrative tasks
  • Ability to manage employee schedules and attendance
  • Valid work authorization

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two years of janitorial supervisor experience preferred
  • Proven ability to manage a large team or staff
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to provide technical guidance and interpret policies
  • Experience in basic administrative and payroll functions
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills
  • Familiarity with inventory management
  • Ability to maintain security protocols
  • Customer service orientation

Job Duties

  • Assist with the training of the cleaning team
  • Oversee and perform cleaning operations in assigned building
  • Manage security of keys and access cards for the property
  • Report work orders for maintenance
  • Oversee quality of jobs and confirm completion with manager
  • Check supplies, equipment, and chemicals weekly
  • Complete order forms accurately
  • Coordinate equipment usage and inventories
  • Manage daily employee lunches and breaks
  • Maintain daily shift report for managers
  • Perform basic administrative, payroll and attendance functions
  • Maintain communication with account managers to monitor and maintain optimum staffing levels
  • Provide technical guidance, interpret policies and procedures, and assist front-line employees
  • Ensure shift schedules are complete a week in advance
  • Work with leadership to ensure all callouts are covered
  • Accommodate increased or decreased client staffing requests
  • Manage the No-Fault Attendance Policy
  • Perform other duties as assigned or requested
