The role of Field Safety Representative II at Baker Construction is critical in promoting and maintaining the company’s Injure Illness Free (IIF) culture, which ensures the safety and well-being of every worker on site. This position requires spending 100% of the time in the field, observing and coaching co-workers to correct unsafe conditions and behaviors as they arise. The Field Safety Representative II acts as a safety resource, reinforcing positive safety behaviors by recognizing good practices and providing constructive feedback when necessary. This role may also involve supervising lower-level Field Safety Representatives and Coordinators, helping to build a strong safety team on projects.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a safety related major and a minimum of 2 years concrete construction and safety experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must obtain OSHA 30 hour certification within 3 months
- Ability to spend 100% of time in the field observing and coaching
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Willingness to travel up to 75 percent
- Physical ability to perform job duties safely
- Commitment to promoting safety culture
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a safety related major
- Minimum of 2 years concrete construction and safety experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- OSHA 30 hour certification obtained within 3 months
