Job Description

Experienced Roof and Gutter Cleaning is a specialized service company based in Renton, Washington, known for its dedication to delivering high-quality roof and gutter cleaning solutions within the region spanning from Olympia to Everett. This company has built a strong reputation by emphasizing hard work, family values, accountability, and creating a business environment where employees feel part of something meaningful and impactful. They operate multiple production crews with clear leadership hierarchies and a focus on quality service and operational excellence. The firm’s culture centers on improving every day, providing necessary training and resources, and maintaining a friendly, supportive work environment that values efficiency and customer satisfaction.

The role offered is for a Field Operations Manager, a pivotal position within the organization responsible for ensuring the smooth, profitable, and high-quality operation of the production department. This leadership role is hands-on and field-involved, requiring the manager to oversee five production teams consisting of Lead Technicians and Junior Technicians. The Field Operations Manager acts as a vital link between the production crews, sales teams, and administrative departments, ensuring seamless communication and operational coordination across these groups.

The position demands oversight of daily production activities, including hiring, training, coaching, and when necessary, terminating technicians to maintain a high-performance team. It also involves improving job pacing, crew productivity, and operational efficiency while strictly managing costs related to labor, fuel, equipment maintenance, and materials to stay within budget targets. The successful candidate will be deeply involved in quality control through regular field inspections, handle customer complaints with professionalism and promptness, and ensure all equipment and vehicles are well-maintained and ready for use.

This is a full-time, year-round leadership role with an average workweek of approximately 50 hours, including seasonal scheduling variations based on daylight hours and operational demands. From November through February, work hours are from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM six days per week without Saturdays, while from March through October, hours shift to 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with weekends off. The role requires the manager to be present during the start and finish of the crews’ workdays and available by phone or text outside those hours for necessary communications.

Compensation for the Field Operations Manager includes a base salary of $7,000 per month, complemented by $2,000 or more in monthly performance bonuses directly tied to departmental results, totaling $9,000+ in monthly earnings. Additional financial incentives include over-performance bonuses, commissions on self-generated sales and estimates, and guaranteed growth in compensation as the department expands.

Beyond competitive pay, the company offers an attractive benefits package designed to provide work-life balance and financial security. Employees receive three weeks of paid vacation annually, including paid sick leave approved under Washington state law, paid holidays such as Thanksgiving, Christmas, and the employee's birthday. Medical benefits cover health, vision, and dental insurance. The company also provides full OSHA training with multiple certifications, a company gas card, phone bill coverage, work clothes, gear, paid training, and a company vehicle to enable efficient operations.
