Job Description

Cityside Fiber is a dynamic and innovative internet service provider headquartered in Irvine, California. The company is committed to delivering next-generation, lightning-fast fiber optic internet services with a strong emphasis on innovation, accountability, and trust. Cityside Fiber prides itself on a people-first culture that fosters creativity, collaboration, and a fun work environment. With exciting initiatives such as office game nights and community-focused events like taco truck takeovers, the company aims to cultivate a lively and supportive atmosphere for its employees while revolutionizing how communities connect and communicate. As an Equal Opportunity Employer, Cityside Fiber values diversity and inclusion, offering a promising career path for motivated individuals who are ready to make a real impact in the telecommunications space.

The company is currently seeking a Field Marketing Associate to join their team based out of Santa Clarita County and the surrounding areas. This role is perfect for someone passionate about marketing, creativity, and engaging directly with local communities to raise brand awareness and generate new leads. The Field Marketing Associate will be the face of Cityside Fiber at community events, sponsorships, and local business interactions, responsible for planning, executing, and managing a wide range of marketing activities. This position offers an annual salary of $70,000, dependent on experience, and is a full-time role that involves up to 40% regional travel primarily within California. The successful candidate will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package including company-sponsored medical and dental insurance for employees, subsidized plans for dependents, a 401(k) plan with company matching contributions, paid time off that includes holidays and sick leave, and opportunities for growth and career development.

As a Field Marketing Associate at Cityside Fiber, you will be working in a fast-paced and engaging environment where your efforts directly contribute to building community relationships and driving customer acquisition. You’ll lead the organization and execution of unique marketing events such as HOA neighborhood launches, local business gatherings, industry conferences, and even food-truck festival takeovers. You will manage everything from setup to tear-down, ensuring each event runs smoothly while maximizing lead capture and delivering excellent customer support. This role requires strong project management abilities as you maintain detailed run-of-shows, budgets, calendars, and lead databases to measure return on investment. You will also collaborate closely with creative teams to design eye-catching banners, swag, and social media content that sparks community interest and builds ongoing engagement.

The Field Marketing Associate is expected to harness data-driven insights by tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), conducting competitive market research, and refining customer profiles to recommend effective go-to-market strategies. Building local business relationships—from chambers of commerce to food vendors and vendors—is essential for expanding Cityside Fiber's market presence and community reach. Your communication skills must be top-notch to engage effectively with both executives and prospects, while multitasking efficiently to meet deadlines without compromise. The role also calls for digital savvy; familiarity with Microsoft Office is required, and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, HubSpot, and Salesforce will be a valuable bonus. A valid driver’s license and the willingness to travel approximately 40% of the time regionally are mandatory as you serve as Cityside Fiber’s ambassador at events across Santa Clarita and beyond. The physical demands of the role include lifting up to 35 pounds and prolonged standing, and all employees are expected to adhere to the company’s dress code.

Joining Cityside Fiber means becoming part of a future-forward company dedicated to transforming connectivity with a vibrant team focused on innovation and fun. If you’re a motivated and creative marketing professional who thrives in a field role engaging with communities and crafting memorable experiences, this opportunity offers a rewarding career path and the chance to make waves within the fast-evolving telecom industry.
