The role of a Field Interviewer at RTI International is integral to the successful collection of data for various research studies. As a Field Interviewer, you will frequently travel to selected locations to recruit study participants, often approaching households without prior appointments. This dynamic position requires making in-person contact with respondents to discuss study details, answer their questions, and secure participation. Field Interviewers collect confidential information and administer standardized questionnaires in a methodical and conscientious manner. Independent management of administrative duties such as participation in conference calls, completion of online trainings, and transmitting data as scheduled is also a crucial part of the job.

Field Interviewers are entrusted with the care and legal responsibility of project-issued equipment, safeguarding participant incentives and project materials from damage, loss, or theft. Attention to detail in submitting timely and accurate Time and Expense reports and attending virtually scheduled team meetings ensures harmonious coordination within the project team. The role also requires working and driving after dark and the flexibility to perform duties in diverse weather conditions.
