This position plays a critical role in Circle K's foodservice division by ensuring that all stores operate in compliance with food safety and quality assurance standards, including FSQA and HACCP regulations. The primary responsibility is to supervise and train store teams on food safety protocols, quality control, and the latest product offerings. This role also involves overseeing new store startups and remodels, troubleshooting equipment and process issues, and serving as the key contact for resolving foodservice-related concerns.

The Food Safety and Quality Assurance Supervisor fosters relationships between store management, district managers, category managers, and food service vendors to ensure consistent implementation of company policies and standards. They are instrumental in coaching underperforming stores, conducting training seminars, and maintaining a database of all training sessions and store visits. The supervisor leads efforts to create a cooperative learning environment where employees are empowered to troubleshoot independently and share best practices. This position requires regular store visits to monitor food safety, equipment condition, and cleanliness, ensuring all aspects meet or exceed regulatory and company standards.

Additional responsibilities include performing preventative maintenance tasks, calibrating dispensing machines, reviewing signage and promotional materials, and managing special projects related to the foodservice category. This role demands strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, the ability to work collaboratively across departments, and leadership capabilities to drive performance improvement. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Ability to sit for long periods
  • Operate computer keyboard and mouse
  • View computer monitor
  • Hear and speak via telephone
  • Reach forward and overhead
  • Occasionally lift up to 20 pounds
  • Work with minimum direction and periodic supervision
  • Availability to visit multiple store locations regularly

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and quality assurance standards
  • Experience in training or supervising teams in a retail or foodservice environment
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient with database management and report writing

Job Duties

  • Supervise training and educate store teams on food safety and new product offerings
