- must obtain TABC certification prior to beginning work
- must obtain Food Handlers Certification prior to beginning work
- ability to remain on feet for entire shift
- ability to grasp, lift, push, pull, or otherwise move up to 30 pounds

Job Duties
- Maintain a guest focus while performing duties
- assume 100% responsibility for quality guest experience
- welcome and greet guests within 20 seconds with a friendly polite smile and eye contact
- inform guest of specials and menu changes
- answer questions about food and beverages and other restaurant functions and services
- provide high chairs and special seating arrangements to guests as needed or requested
- seat each guest in the appropriate section, rotate sections to ensure servers are not overwhelmed and tables are evenly distributed
- provide menus for each guest and remove unnecessary place settings
- inform server of new tables seated in section and mark table as occupied
- check schedule daily to be aware and prepared for incoming parties and special events
- ensure menus are kept clean and tidy
- as guests vacate tables, ensure they are cleaned and removed from occupied status
- replenish work station supplies
- inform relief personnel of occupied and unoccupied tables
- communicate details about waiting guests and their requests to relief personnel
- assist servers proactively
- thank guests for their visit and invite them to return
- attend all scheduled employee meetings and bring suggestions for improvement
- notify manager on duty if guest is not 100% satisfied
- perform any and all other duties as assigned
