Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in event management, hospitality, or related field preferred
  • Minimum 3 years experience in festival or outdoor event management with 2500+ capacity
  • At least 2 years of leadership experience managing teams
  • Proven experience managing large-scale budgets
  • Ability to travel approximately twice per month including weekends
  • Must be based in Baltimore or willing to relocate with provided assistance
  • Must be able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and licensing standards in event management

Job Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in festival or outdoor event management with at least 2 years of people leadership
  • Proven track record managing large-scale budgets and event teams
  • Expertise in site plan design, logistics, and customer experience optimization
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills in a dynamic guest service environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to remain calm under pressure
  • In-depth knowledge of health, safety, and licensing standards
  • A passion for creating unique, engaging, and scalable events
  • Strong organizational, communication, and coordination skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • works well multitasking and is a team player
  • Must be able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and/or holidays
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel)
  • Triple Seat experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Identify, analyze, and bring high-performing third-party festivals to Live! districts across the country
  • Expand both Live! -owned and third-party events to new properties and non-event days
  • Create and maintain festival DNA decks to document core elements, branding, and operational playbooks
  • Assist in developing SOPs for marketing and operations as events scale
  • Lead planning and delivery of festivals and experiences with a focus on excellence and profitability
  • Manage all event documentation, production schedules, EMPs, and post-event recaps
  • Collaborate with operations and external organizers to ensure events are executed to a high standard
  • Design and review site layouts for optimal guest experience and compliance
  • Work with local leadership teams on permitting and local coordination
  • Liaise with venue owners, emergency services, and community representatives to plan event logistics
  • Partner with sponsorship fulfillment to identify opportunities for sponsor activation
  • Lead meetings with operations teams prior to events
  • Assist with contracts and deliverables for finalization
  • Oversee external suppliers, freelancers, and contractors
  • Oversee onsite delivery, troubleshooting, and operations during events
  • Travel approximately twice per month including weekends to support events and local teams
