Job Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited veterinary school
- Licensed to practice veterinary medicine in California
- Ability to physically handle cats and perform required medical procedures
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible schedules including full-time, part-time, or relief shifts
- No on-call or overnight availability
- Commitment to upholding hospital standards and patient care protocols
Job Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree
- Licensing to practice veterinary medicine in California
- Experience or strong interest in feline medicine
- Ability to work full-time, part-time, or relief shifts
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to providing compassionate care
- Willingness to participate in continuing education and advanced treatment methods
Job Duties
- Provide compassionate and specialized medical care to feline patients
- Participate in advanced treatments including I-131 therapy for hyperthyroidism
- Collaborate with a team of veterinary professionals to ensure comprehensive feline healthcare
- Manage patient records and treatment plans efficiently
- Maintain a clean and safe clinical environment for animals and staff
- Engage in client communication to educate and inform about feline health
- Uphold the hospital's standards and protocols as a Gold designated AAFP Cat Friendly Practice
