Job Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited veterinary school
  • Licensed to practice veterinary medicine in California
  • Ability to physically handle cats and perform required medical procedures
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including full-time, part-time, or relief shifts
  • No on-call or overnight availability
  • Commitment to upholding hospital standards and patient care protocols

Job Qualifications

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree
  • Licensing to practice veterinary medicine in California
  • Experience or strong interest in feline medicine
  • Ability to work full-time, part-time, or relief shifts
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Commitment to providing compassionate care
  • Willingness to participate in continuing education and advanced treatment methods

Job Duties

  • Provide compassionate and specialized medical care to feline patients
  • Participate in advanced treatments including I-131 therapy for hyperthyroidism
  • Collaborate with a team of veterinary professionals to ensure comprehensive feline healthcare
  • Manage patient records and treatment plans efficiently
  • Maintain a clean and safe clinical environment for animals and staff
  • Engage in client communication to educate and inform about feline health
  • Uphold the hospital's standards and protocols as a Gold designated AAFP Cat Friendly Practice
