Job Requirements
- Must be legal to work in the US
- Must be able to pass a drug test and DOT medical physical exam paid by employer
- Must be willing to submit to a background check
- Have dependable transportation to and from the job location
- Must be able to safely operate and navigate a delivery van, GVWR 26,000 lbs or less
- Be able to interact in a positive and professional manner with customers, partners and other team members
Job Qualifications
- FedEx Ground driver experience preferred
- FedEx Ground business contact experience preferred
- 1 year of verifiable job-related driving experience in the last 3 years or 3 years of verifiable job-related driving experience in the last 10 years
- Clean motor vehicle record (MVR)
- Ability to interact positively and professionally with customers, partners and team members
Job Duties
- Arrive at the FedEx Terminal to pick up the vehicle and deliver packages on fixed routes
- Scan and load packages
- Load, unload, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle safely
- Maintain delivery logs and records
- Establish and maintain outstanding relations with customers
- Physically handle packages up to 150 lbs
- Navigate and operate delivery van with GVWR of 26,000 lbs or less safely
