Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Carefully follows standard recipes while preparing assigned items for foodservice
  • Consistently uses safe and sanitary food handling practices
  • Assists other cooks during emergencies or rush periods
  • Inspects and cleans food preparation areas, such as equipment and work surfaces, or serving areas to ensure safe and sanitary food-handling practices
  • Assists in plating food items for service
  • Cleans assigned workstation areas
  • Ensures food is stored and cooked at the correct temperature by regulating the temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters
  • Carefully follows instructions and procedures set and communicated by Chef
