This employment opportunity is for the role of Fast Food Shift Manager within the Wendy's franchise network operated by Wenspok. In this role, you will oversee the efficient running of shifts at Wendy's restaurants, ensuring smooth operations, excellent customer service, and adherence to quality, safety, and cleanliness standards. You will lead frontline staff by providing training, coaching, and motivation to enhance their performance and satisfaction. You will also be responsible for handling cash management duties such as opening and closing cash registers and conducting audits. Job Requirements

  • At least 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Relevant work experience of minimum one year in a similar role
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and rotating shifts
  • Strong leadership qualities
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to maintain effective communication
  • Understanding of food safety regulations and standards
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Capable of managing cash registers and performing cash audits

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum one year experience as a fast food shift manager or similar role
  • Experience in fast-paced QSR or fast casual dining environments preferred
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication abilities with team members and customers
  • Knowledge of food safety procedures and regulations
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-moving environment
  • Experience managing cash and financial reporting preferred
  • PC skills are an advantage

Job Duties

  • Direct and supervise all operational aspects of a restaurant shift, ensuring smooth execution from beginning to end
  • Provide training, support, and coaching to nurture an efficient workforce
  • Foster a comfortable and friendly setting in the workplace and dining areas
  • Oversee and strengthen adherence to food safety measures throughout the work hours
  • Boost store sales and profitability targets by optimizing operational management techniques
  • Maintain the standards of quality, service, and cleanliness as per QSC guidelines
  • Guarantee the security of Wendy's brand and investments
  • Exhibit a persistent effort to deliver results and consistently hit targets
  • Strive to go the extra mile in attending to our guests and guaranteeing their contentment
  • Provide training, oversee, and incentivize adherence to food safety protocols among staff
  • Assume the responsibilities of a Cash Manager when necessary, such as initializing cash registers when the store opens and conducting cash audits when closing
  • Complete walkthroughs to verify that the restaurant is set up for service commencement or conclusion, and is also prepared for peak business hours
  • Work closely with the restaurant management team to improve the training and communication methods for crew members and Team Trainers with the aim of increasing staff retention rates
  • Manage, organize, and allocate operational responsibilities, guaranteeing alignment with Company policies and regulations
  • Aid the restaurant management in managing crew member schedules to ensure optimal coverage and uphold high customer service standards
  • Achieve budget targets by overseeing food and labor costs effectively
  • Implement organizational rules and regulations with consistency
  • Oversee the food preparation procedures to guarantee adherence to quality standards
  • Team up with colleagues to reach sales objectives and increase revenue
  • Quickly respond to customer complaints and attend to any guest-related issues
