This full-time position for a Fast Food Shift Lead is based at Hendrick Medical Center in Abilene, Texas. The shift lead is responsible for supervising fast food service operations during day shifts, Monday through Friday, with specific hours varying and details provided upon interview. The role pays between $15.00 and $15.50 per hour, and Morrison Healthcare is willing to provide training for candidates who may not have prior supervisory experience but are eager to learn and grow. As a Fast Food Shift Lead, your primary responsibility will be overseeing the quality assembly and service of food, ensuring adherence to hygiene, safety, and portion control standards in compliance with HACCP and OSHA guidelines. Job Duties
- Provide quality customer service by giving one on one attention to detail
- oversee and participate in the preparation and service of food and beverage items ensuring company standards for presentation, sanitation, safety, and portion control
- help plan menus
- ensure timely and efficient meal service and supervise serving of meals
- respond to customer complaints in person and via email
- train employees and assign and coordinate their work to promote efficiency and excellence in food and service
- determine work procedures and prepare work schedules to expedite workflow
- develop and enforce sanitation schedules for cleaning kitchen and dining areas and washing kitchen utensils and equipment
- contribute to a professional work environment
- perform other duties as assigned
