Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in food preparation, food service, or a quick service restaurant is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and strong communication abilities
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
- Experience working in the food industry, retail math understanding, or grocery store background is advantageous
- Ability to perform basic math for sales transactions, cash handling, and inventory counts
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- Prepare and assemble food items quickly and accurately, adhering to safety and sanitation standards
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders efficiently
- Provide friendly customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest experience
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment through bussing and sanitation practices
- Assist with food safety procedures, proper food handling, and ensuring compliance with health regulations
- Support team members by managing food prep, serving customers, and performing basic math for transactions or inventory checks
