Job Requirements
- At least 16 years of age
- high school diploma or equivalent experience or current enrollment
- ability to learn food safety and sanitation procedures
- flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- ability to handle physical demands including lifting up to 40 lbs, standing for long periods, and working in varying temperatures
- ability to work in noisy environments
- ability to obtain necessary food handling permits and certifications
- successful completion of background and drug screenings
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent experience
- ability to learn correct and safe food preparation techniques
- demonstrated understanding of sanitation related issues and precautions
- flexibility regarding scheduling including nights, weekends and holidays
- ability to work with Point of Sale and Kitchen Display Systems
- ability to obtain local or state food handling permits and serv safe food handling certification as required
- successful completion of criminal background check and drug screen
- previous cooking experience preferred
- proven teamwork skills

Job Duties
- Maintain and follow all department operating procedures
- ensure completion of daily temperature logs, daily cleaning logs, line check sheets and food waste sheets
- Ensure compliance with all food-handling and sanitation regulations
- Prepare all food items per recipe guidelines, tasting and adjusting for flavor with assistance of chef
- Executes food orders according to guest preference in a timely manner while working on multiple orders at once
- Provides food preparation assistance by washing, peeling, cutting and preparing a variety of ingredients
- Controls recipes by weighing and measuring designated ingredients
