The role of Cook/Cashier at Wicked Maine Lobster is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about cooking and customer service. This is a cross-trained position located at the Liberty Public Market location that demands versatility and a positive attitude. Employees in this role work closely with the kitchen team to prepare fresh seafood rolls, fried seafood dishes, and other menu items with attention to detail and care. Beyond cooking, they engage directly with customers by providing excellent service with a smile, handling orders both from the food hall and online channels efficiently and accurately.

Shifts run seven days a week with three time options available – 10am to 4pm, 12pm to 8pm, or 3pm to 9pm, and weekend availability is a must. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- experience in a fast-paced food service or quick service environment preferred
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks related to cooking and cleaning
- food safety knowledge and adherence to health regulations
- must be punctual and dependable
- ability to work effectively in a team environment
Job Qualifications
- Experienced in cooking or back-of-the-house operations in a quick service environment preferred
- reliable and able to meet scheduling commitments
- proactive and able to anticipate the needs of the kitchen team
- detail-oriented with a passion for culinary excellence
- committed to maintaining workplace safety and cleanliness
- team player who thrives in a collaborative environment
- bilingual fluent in Spanish and English preferred
Job Duties
- Providing excellent customer service with a smile
- prepare fresh seafood rolls and fried seafood dishes for customers
- ensuring timely completion of all online and food hall orders with precision and care
- preparing ingredients, sauces, and menu items with attention to detail
- collaborating with the kitchen team to execute dishes flawlessly
- maintaining cleanliness, organization and food safety of the kitchen and workstation
- assisting with inventory management and stock replenishment
- sharing the founder's backstory and product knowledge with enthusiasm
