Job Description

Our club or venue is a premier destination known for hosting a wide variety of high-profile events including weddings, galas, golf outings, corporate functions, and exclusive member gatherings. With a commitment to excellence and providing memorable experiences for our guests, the club or venue prides itself on maintaining impeccable standards of service, safety, and organization. We operate in a dynamic environment that demands flexibility and a customer-centric approach to all facets of event management, including parking and traffic control logistics.

The Parking Attendant role is crucial to ensuring smooth vehicle flow, exceptional guest arrival experiences, and efficient management of parking logistics during high-volume events. This part-time position requires working flexible hours, primarily on weekends, to meet the variable demands of different event schedules. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, an ability to maintain safety protocols, and excellent communication abilities to interact professionally with guests and event team members.

In this role, the Parking Attendant is responsible for directing vehicles into designated parking areas safely and efficiently, managing traffic patterns at peak times, and ensuring that overflow parking is well coordinated during events with high attendance. The attendant also supports valet coordination when applicable and monitors parking lots continuously to identify and report any hazards or unsafe conditions. Responding promptly to any incidents or suspicious activities is essential to maintaining a secure environment.

Additionally, this position supports overall event operations by assisting with emergency vehicle access and following established safety protocols of the club or venue at all times. The Parking Attendant plays a key role in guest services by providing clear instructions about entrances, drop-off zones, accessible parking, and directions to various event locations such as the clubhouse, banquet halls, or event tents.

The role demands a calm and courteous demeanor, especially during periods of high traffic and busy events. The attendant is expected to embody professionalism and represent the club or venue positively at all times. Physical stamina is necessary as the job may require standing or walking for extended periods and occasionally lifting objects weighing between 30 to 40 pounds. Support during inclement weather, such as umbrella assistance, may also be required.

This opportunity is ideal for individuals seeking a part-time position with the flexibility to work hours based on event needs. Previous experience in parking management, traffic control, security, hospitality, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory. Above all, the candidate must demonstrate a strong commitment to safety culture, quality, and teamwork while maintaining integrity and high standards throughout their shift.
