Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED or current enrollment with completion within six months
- Must be 21 years or older
- Experience in multi-shift, complex organizations
- Familiarity with financial data and cost control techniques
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work irregular and odd hours
- Ability to maneuver all service areas
- Ability to handle guest and employee conflicts calmly
- Willingness to travel and attend training
- Must complete Responsible Vendor Alcoholic Beverage Service and BASSET training
- Must complete ServeSafe Sanitation training
- Ability to obtain and maintain Illinois Occupational License and remain in good standing with Illinois Gaming Board
- Must pass a job interview including a guest service audition
Job Qualifications
- Associate's degree in related field
- Two years' food and/or beverage supervisory experience or one year as a dual-rate supervisor in a Wind Creek Hospitality F&B department or two years in the hiring department
- Extensive knowledge of food products and service techniques
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to coordinate multiple tasks with minimal direction
- Competency with Micros Point of Sale system and computer-based scheduling and booking systems
- Ability to analyze data for reports
- Maturity and dependability
Job Duties
- Assist Food and Beverage Managers in implementing improvement programs
- Help develop and implement customer service training programs
- Ensure VIP guest and special event service support
- Assist in cost control and scheduling for maximum productivity
- Counsel and train assigned personnel
- Address customer complaints promptly and effectively
- Oversee personnel changes and make staffing recommendations
- Retain and communicate daily promotional and operational information
- Manage special projects as directed
- Maintain sufficient inventory levels
- Perform other assigned duties
