The current job opening is for the position of Seasonal Food & Beverage Supervisor at Viceroy Chicago, IL. This role is pivotal in managing and coordinating all food and beverage operations within the property, including kitchen and back-of-house functions. The supervisor is responsible for maintaining profitable operations by managing budgets related to revenue and payroll, reducing employee turnover, and promoting business through innovative marketing ideas. The position requires a strong focus on maintaining the highest quality in both product and service, while also ensuring compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and liquor laws. The Seasonal Food & Beverage Supervisor plays a key role in leadership, overseeing F&B personnel and responding promptly and effectively to guest concerns to ensure an exceptional experience.
This role emphasizes collaboration with the Food & Beverage Manager to monitor departmental performance against budgets, industry trends, and operational goals. Additional responsibilities include loss prevention, inventory control, preparing reports, and conducting staff training and meetings regularly to align team efforts with the organization’s standards. The supervisor also oversees the employee cafeteria and ensures standard operating procedures (SOPs) are followed meticulously.
