Job Description

Delta Hotels by Marriott Toledo is an exciting new hotel nestled in the vibrant heart of Toledo, Ohio, located directly on the prestigious University of Toledo Medical Center campus. This 212-room hotel offers an upscale retreat designed to deliver unforgettable experiences for its diverse clientele, including business travelers and leisure guests alike. Opening in July 2024, the hotel boasts chic dining options through a sophisticated restaurant and bar, extensive banquet facilities covering more than 14,000 square feet, a modern fitness center, an indoor pool, complimentary Wi-Fi, and ample parking. Delta Hotels by Marriott Toledo aims to combine superior hospitality with contemporary amenities to ensure every guest enjoys a comfortable and memorable stay.

Within this dynamic hospitality environment, the Food and Beverage Supervisor role is a critical leadership position that oversees all daily operations across food and beverage outlets and services. This role is key to maintaining the highest standards of food quality, guest satisfaction, and operational efficiency in alignment with the hotel’s brand values and Marriott’s globally recognized service standards. The Food and Beverage Supervisor leads a team of associates, ensuring they are well-trained, motivated, and performing to the best of their abilities while adhering to established company policies and procedures.

This position requires a hands-on leader who is comfortable managing various aspects of restaurant and banquet operations including scheduling, coaching, quality control, and customer engagement. The supervisor ensures compliance with sanitation, safety, and beverage service laws, maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for both guests and staff. Additionally, this role demands active interaction with guests to gather feedback and continuously enhance service delivery. The supervisor is also responsible for inventory control, equipment maintenance, and ensuring consistent adherence to all health and safety regulations.

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of one year of supervisory experience in a restaurant or banquet setting and have a solid background in food service at the server level. Experience with bar service and liquor inventory control is required, and familiarity with Micro’s point of sales system is highly preferred. Flexibility is key, as work schedules may vary to include holidays, weekends, and night shifts, with the physical demands of the job requiring standing for extended periods and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

At Delta Hotels by Marriott Toledo, we are committed to fostering a supportive work environment that values teamwork, dedication, and guest-centric attitudes. This opportunity offers competitive pay starting at $18 per hour and options for full-time or part-time employment. No formal education is required, making this an accessible career path for those with hospitality experience seeking to advance their supervisory skills in a premier hotel setting. Joining our team means becoming part of a growing brand dedicated to excellence, innovation, and delivering hospitality experiences that exceed guest expectations.
