The Floor Supervisor role at Broken Shaker and Rays Bar located within Freehand Miami is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and passionate leader in the food and beverage industry. This position is pivotal in the daily operations and overall guest experience, aimed at delivering exceptional service and maintaining high standards throughout the venue. As a Floor Supervisor, you will assist the food and beverage management team in ensuring smooth operational flow, from overseeing service quality to managing staff performance and development. The role requires a hands-on approach, with responsibilities extending to staff training, regulatory compliance in health, safety, fire, and food hygiene, and proactive guest engagement to ensure each visitor’s journey is unique and memorable. A key component of this position is to nurture teamwork and foster a motivated staff environment, communicating goals effectively to generate enthusiasm and alignment within the team.

Ideal candidates have a strong commercial sense with an understanding of stock control and cost management, alongside a passion for trending food and beverage concepts. Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • assist the F&B management team to create a smooth-running operation and provide an excellent service
  • support with initiative and commitment to the overall objectives of the business in terms of revenue, costs and teamwork
  • take ownership of the guest journey to ensure that we create a truly unique Freehand experience
  • respond quickly and efficiently to all customer requests and enquiries, ensuring that you maintain a can do attitude at all times
  • demonstrate in depth knowledge of both the food and beverage menu
  • know all statutory legislation and ensure H&S, fire safety and food hygiene compliance
  • develop and train all employees within your charge in order that they perform to the required standard
  • communicate effectively so that the team understands its goals and is motivated to achieve them
