Job Description
Our esteemed hospitality establishment is a leading luxury hotel known for delivering exceptional service and memorable experiences to our members and guests. With a rich tradition of excellence in food and beverage services, we pride ourselves on maintaining high standards in all aspects of our operations. Our Club boasts multiple dining facilities including the Members Grill, Resort and Members Pools, and various event spaces, all designed to provide a sophisticated and welcoming environment. We actively seek to enhance the overall guest experience while also ensuring the smooth and profitable operation of our food and beverage outlets. Our commitment to staff development, operational efficiency, and guest satisfaction positions us as a preferred employer in the hospitality industry.
As the Food and Beverage Manager, you will play a pivotal role in sustaining and elevating the quality of our club’s dining experiences. This management position is responsible for leading and overseeing all activities related to our food and beverage operations within the club. You will manage supervisors and team leaders who in turn supervise frontline staff across multiple outlets including the restaurant, Members Grill, pools, and club events. The role requires a hands-on approach where direct involvement on the floor is often necessary, encompassing bartending, serving, wine service, and guest seating. Beyond daily operations, the position demands strategic management of financial performance, inventory, and staffing to meet both budgetary and service goals.
Your leadership will be key in hiring, training, and mentoring the food and beverage team to ensure compliance with policies, adherence to health and safety regulations, and the delivery of exemplary customer service. You will be expected to conduct regular meetings to communicate objectives and maintain a high level of team motivation and performance. Sound financial management skills are critical as you analyze forecasts, control costs, and implement efficient procedures to maximize profitability. Ensuring all food and beverage outlets comply with legal regulations and internal standards is a core responsibility, and you will be actively involved in enforcing cash handling protocols and quality controls.
In addition to operational oversight, your role will encompass guest relations, including addressing and resolving concerns promptly and effectively to uphold our reputation for exceptional service. Managing safety procedures, including personal protective equipment usage and hazard compliance, will form an integral part of your supervisory duties. You will have a direct impact on both employee satisfaction and customer experience, driving success for the club's food and beverage operations and contributing to the overall hospitality excellence for which the hotel is known.
