The center is committed to operational excellence, high standards of customer service, and innovative guest engagement, positioning itself as a premier venue in the region. As part of its commitment to diversity and inclusion, accesso ShoWare Center under the Legends Global Food and Beverage Division is an equal opportunity employer encouraging applicants from diverse backgrounds, including women, minorities, individuals with disabilities, and protected veterans. Employees enjoy competitive pay, access to comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for growth in a dynamic event-driven environment.
The Food and Beverage Manager role at accesso ShoWare Center is a part-time hourly position paying between $30 to $32 per hour, depending on experience. Reporting directly to the Director of Food and Beverage, the manager plays a pivotal role in supporting and executing all aspects of food and beverage operations across the arena. This includes oversight of concessions, luxury suites, clubs, bars, and catering services, ensuring seamless operations before, during, and after events. The role demands a highly organized and experienced hospitality leader with a proven background in managing high-volume, fast-paced event environments and premium service settings.
This manager must be adept at overseeing complex operational logistics, ensuring compliance with health and liquor laws, driving financial performance through budgeting and cost control, and fostering a team-oriented culture that emphasizes quality and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Food and Beverage Management or a related field, alongside at least five years of industry experience, with three years in a management role within arenas, stadiums, or convention centers. Strong computer skills in POS, inventory, and scheduling systems, alongside Microsoft Office, are essential. Certifications including Washington State Liquor License, Food Handler Certificate, and ServSafe Management licenses are required, underlining a commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
Flexibility is key, as the role requires working various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays to support the broad range of events hosted at the center. Physical demands include prolonged standing and walking, occasional lifting, and the ability to work in noisy environments. Beyond operational duties, the manager contributes strategically to promotional initiatives and guest engagement programs, playing an integral part in maintaining accesso ShoWare Center’s reputation for excellence in hospitality. This opportunity offers candidates a chance to be part of a vibrant, community-focused venue while advancing their careers in food and beverage management within a supportive and inclusive workplace environment. Employees also receive benefits like 401K eligibility, paid holidays at premium rates, accrual of sick time, and access to medical, dental, and vision insurance after meeting specific service requirements, making this an attractive employment opportunity for hospitality professionals.
