Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in food and beverage management or hospitality leadership
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • ability to manage and motivate a team
  • knowledge of food safety and handling regulations
  • proficiency in financial reporting and inventory management
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • capacity to multitask and prioritize departmental functions

Job Duties

  • Hire, train, coach, schedule, and mentor all food and beverage employees
  • support employees and fill in as needed to ensure guests receive attentive and efficient service
  • proactively engage in conversation with guests to seek feedback and encourage return visits
  • apply problem-solving skills to resolve guest issues and complaints
  • monitor all food and beverage deliveries for portion control, quality, and presentation
  • ensure food handling and safety guidelines are followed, including kitchen logs
  • maintain daily cash control and financial reporting for the department
  • oversee inventory, ordering, and receiving of all food and beverage items
  • establish sales promotion efforts to meet or exceed profit objectives while controlling costs
  • support the goals of the hotel through teamwork and collaboration with all departments
