Job Description

This position is with a reputed luxury hotel known for its exceptional hospitality services and diverse food and beverage outlets. The Food & Beverage Manager role is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing multiple food and beverage outlets within the hotel to ensure operational profitability, adherence to quality standards, and outstanding guest satisfaction. This role involves directing, coordinating, and administering all facets of food and beverage service operations, including restaurants and bars, to meet and exceed business targets. The manager will collaborate closely with other department leaders such as the Bar Manager, Restaurant General Manager, and Chef de Cuisine to cultivate a professional and respectful work environment that encourages continuous learning and growth for the team.

Responsibilities include contributing to strategic planning, organizing training programs, and implementing procedures aligned with restaurant and bar objectives related to sales, cost control, guest retention, service quality, food standards, and compliance with health and safety regulations. The Food & Beverage Manager plays a critical role in daily operational management, from reviewing business performance and managing staffing schedules to addressing customer concerns promptly and effectively. This position requires strong leadership skills, an understanding of hospitality and food service trends, and the ability to adapt and respond to dynamic guest needs and business demands. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication, problem-solving abilities, and a deep commitment to fostering a memorable dining experience for guests. Job Requirements

  • Ability to speak, read, write and understand English
  • Professional demeanor appropriate for a luxury environment
  • Minimum 2-3 years of restaurant, bar, or hospitality management experience preferred
  • Must have working knowledge of point of sale systems
  • Strong customer service experience, interpersonal, and communication skills are required
  • Strong analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Ability to be flexible, adaptable and responsive to change

Job Qualifications

  • High school degree or equivalent
  • Associate, Bachelor’s and/or Culinary degree preferred
  • Minimum 2-3 years of restaurant, bar, or hospitality management experience preferred
  • Must have working knowledge of point of sale systems
  • Strong customer service experience
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Job Duties

  • Assist with all hiring and training of restaurant and bar internal guests
  • Understand all programs, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines and training protocols
  • Collaborate with Bar Manager, Restaurant General Manager and Chef de Cuisine to create a culture and restaurant work environment based upon respect
  • Foster opportunities for the team to learn, grow and develop their abilities
  • Review the daily business levels, anticipate critical situations and plan effective solutions to best expedite these situations
  • Prepare weekly work schedules in accordance with staffing guidelines, labor forecasts, and assign work for efficient use of equipment and personnel
  • Ensure restaurants appearance meeting and exceeding standards as well as maintaining compliance with all health and safety regulations at all times
  • Investigate and resolve customer complaints regarding food quality, service, or accommodations
  • Perform additional duties and projects as assigned
