The Food and Beverage Manager position is an integral leadership role within a dynamic hospitality environment, particularly within a food and beverage department of a venue such as a restaurant, hotel, or resort. This role requires a seasoned professional to oversee front of house operations while collaborating closely with the Food and Beverage Director and the Executive Chef to ensure impeccable service standards and coordinated special functions. Job Requirements

  • Preference given to qualified Santa Ana Tribal Members
  • Graduate of post high school two-year Culinary Arts School or equivalent
  • Proven experience in food and beverage leadership
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Available to work various shifts including days, evenings, weekends, holidays
  • Knowledge of food and beverage administration and cost control
  • Possession of New Mexico liquor server's license and Food Handlers Card
  • Ability to tend bar
  • Use smartphone for company applications
  • Ability to obtain Pueblo of Santa Ana Gaming Regulatory Commission key gaming license
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
  • Able to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Must be able to work in fast-paced environment
  • Professional and mature demeanor
  • Excellent problem-solving and multi-tasking skills
  • Able to handle conflict and stressful situations professionally

Job Qualifications

  • Graduate of a post high school two-year Culinary Arts School or equivalent work experience in food and beverage leadership
  • Proven performance in implementing food production operational standards
  • Good interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Excellent communication, team building, and problem-solving skills
  • Five years restaurant industry experience including five years managerial experience in a full-service restaurant preferred
  • Knowledge of all phases of food and beverage administration and cost control
  • New Mexico liquor server's license and Food Handlers Card
  • Ability to tend bar if necessary
  • Proficient use of smartphone for company applications
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Pueblo of Santa Ana Gaming Regulatory Commission key gaming license

Job Duties

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of assigned venue
  • Maintain professional appearance
  • Interface with guests to gather service feedback
  • Handle guest issues ensuring satisfaction
  • Ensure food and beverage meet quality standards
  • Manage proper staffing levels based on forecasted needs
  • Complete daily financial reports and control costs
  • Communicate operational variances to relevant departments
  • Maintain service equipment and report issues
  • Ensure safe and organized work environment
  • Collaborate with Chef on food quality and timing
  • Hire, train, evaluate, discipline, and release staff
  • Maintain proper par levels and condition of supplies
  • Establish and uphold exceptional service standards
  • Oversee employee scheduling within budget
  • Regularly review performance with Food and Beverage Director
  • Perform other duties as assigned
