Located at the Monterey Beach Hotel in Monterey, CA, the Food and Beverage Manager role is vital in maintaining and enhancing the overall guest dining experience while ensuring operational efficiency and profitability within the F&B outlet. The Food and Beverage Manager is tasked with supervising all aspects of daily outlet operations, including staff management and customer service excellence. This role requires a dynamic individual capable of multitasking and managing a variety of responsibilities, such as responding timely to guest complaints, coordinating loss prevention measures, overseeing compliance with local liquor laws and health regulations, and implementing corporate promotions if applicable. The position demands a hands-on leadership style with visibility on the floor during meal periods to assist and guide staff. Additionally, the Food and Beverage Manager will contribute to menu planning and cost control while ensuring adherence to company standards, including standard operating procedures and requisition protocols.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in food and beverage management or related hospitality role
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and guests

Job Duties
- Oversee all aspects of the daily operation of the outlet
- Supervise outlet personnel
- Respond to guest complaints in a timely manner
- Work with other F&B managers and keep them informed of issues
- Assist in coordinating and monitoring all phases of Loss Prevention in the outlet
- Prepare and submit required reports in a timely manner
- Monitor quality of service in F&B outlet
