Job Requirements
- Must have valid U.S. work authorization at the time of hire
- previous experience serving customers in a restaurant or banquet setting
- 1-4 years education at the high school level or equivalent education and experience
- 6 months experience in a full-service restaurant preferred

Job Duties
- Greet incoming and departing guests warmly with a genuine smile and eye contact
- escort guests to assigned dining area
- present menus
- announce waiter’s name
- use visual cues to seat guests in either the bar or dining area depending on their preference
- inform guests of current promotion and who will be serving them
- adhere to all posted opening/closing side work duties as it relates to position
- attend pre-shift at designated time
- be aware of daily specials
- be knowledgeable of all menu items, their garnish, contents and preparation methods
- answer any guest questions about the menu in a direct, concise way
- memorize table numbers, station numbers, and contents of stations
- exhibit a sense of teamwork, pride and confidence at all times
- be friendly and smile with guests as well as other employees
- become familiar with all special coupons, discounts and payments accepted at the resort and how to process them through MICROS
- have thorough understanding of hours of operations for all Sea Pines Resort outlets as well as entertainment and special event schedules
- become proficient in cash handling and point of sale check administration
- become familiar with all restaurant daily paperwork as it applies to the operation of each shift
- carry out all reasonable requests by management which the employee is capable of performing
