The General Manager role at Legends Global is a critical leadership position responsible for the profitable oversight of all food and beverage (F&B) operations, including concessions, catering, and premium services at the assigned property. The individual in this role acts as the primary strategic business leader onsite, guiding hospitality and operational functions with a strong focus on guest satisfaction, event innovation, financial performance, sales, revenue generation, and delivering a quality return on investment to key stakeholders. This role requires a proactive leader who upholds Legends Global’s high standards of hospitality and service, continuously enhancing the guest experience by innovating F&B offerings, service delivery, technology, and communications while maintaining operational feasibility. The General Manager maintains open communication with clients, ownership, and key partners to ensure alignment with organizational objectives, fostering strong collaborative relationships across all levels.

Additionally, the General Manager is responsible for leading and inspiring the property’s leadership team, ensuring they meet their performance goals and supporting their professional development. Financial responsibilities include developing and executing operating and capital budgets, labor forecasting, pricing strategies, cost controls, and monthly profit and loss management. The role also oversees procurement, vendor management, contract compliance, and adherence to federal, state, and local regulations related to food safety, alcohol service, OSHA, employment law, and internal policies. Managing safety, sanitation, and quality assurance programs to align with local health regulations is essential. The General Manager is responsible for asset maintenance, including foodservice equipment and POS systems, and ensures food and beverage programs stay current by refreshing offerings to match guest preferences, seasonal trends, and venue identity. Active participation in event production and stadium operations meetings ensures smooth coordination and communication throughout the venue operations.

This full-time position is based on-site at the Hawaii Convention Center and offers a competitive salary ranging from $140,000 to $157,000, complemented by a generous benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, paid vacation, and a 401(k) plan. The General Manager role demands a highly organized, self-motivated individual with strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience managing large-scale F&B operations, particularly within sports or entertainment venues. Candidates must be flexible to work extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and possess physical stamina for the demands of the role. Job Duties

  • Uphold and enforce Legends Global standards of quality, service, and performance
  • continuously enhance and innovate guest experience for food and beverage offerings, service delivery, technology, and communications
  • serve as the primary point of contact for all client and ownership communications related to food and beverage services
  • foster strong, collaborative relationships with clients, ownership, business partners, leagues, and key stakeholders
  • lead, develop, and inspire a cohesive management team
  • ensure all department leaders are delivering on their role expectations and goals
  • develop and execute annual operating and capital budgets that support a fiscally sound operation
  • oversee the operational budget and monthly profit and loss performance including financial reporting, forecasting, and variance analysis
  • review and submit all required financial reports, monthly projections, and inventory reconciliations
  • ensure accurate timekeeping, scheduling, and labor management for team members
  • maintain accountability for inventory controls, accounts payable, and accounts receivable across all departments
  • lead weekly food and beverage operations meetings with executive leadership and key stakeholders
  • oversee procurement and vendor management
  • manage relationships with subcontractors, concessionaires, and nonprofit partners
  • ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local regulations including food safety and alcohol service
  • establish and maintain safety, sanitation, and quality assurance programs
  • oversee maintenance, repair, and lifecycle management of operational assets
  • maintain and refresh core food and beverage programs annually
  • participate in event production and stadium operations meetings
  • ensure all food service equipment is maintained in proper working conditions
  • execute all contractual obligations
  • perform additional related duties as required
  • carry out supervisory responsibilities including interviewing, hiring, training, assigning work, appraising performance, rewarding, disciplining, and resolving problems
