Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Basic knowledge of cooking techniques
  • Ability to work full-time
  • Pass background check
  • Complete pre-employment drug testing if applicable
  • Ability to pass Food Service Sanitation course within one year
  • Ability to follow safety and hygiene guidelines

Job Duties

  • Check and ensure adequate supply of foods and seasonings
  • Check that food is adequately prepared for cooking and serving
  • Prepare desserts, entrees, soups and other foods of medium complexity according to directions
  • Operate steamer, oven, slicer and other cooking equipment
  • Follow safety rules and keep work in area clean and orderly
  • Break down workstations, clean and restock
  • Follow sanitation procedures as instructed by the local health department
