Job Duties

  • Teaches a variety of Culinary Arts or Baking and Pastry Arts related courses conducted onsite or at offsite venues based on college and program needs
  • Develops new courses, curricula, and programs to support student learning and workforce needs
  • Integrates technology into coursework, including learning management systems
  • Meets with and assists students individually or in groups regarding course content comprehension
  • Provides academic advising and supports orientation initiatives
  • Participates in student support and retention initiatives
  • Engages in program and college assessment activities for accreditation and compliance
  • Serves on college governance committees and other institutional committees
  • Performs other college-related services as requested
