Job Requirements
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, culinary arts or a related field
- Three or more years of relevant industry experience
- Must live or relocate within commuting distance of Providence campus upon hire
- College or university transcripts required prior to hire

- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, culinary arts or related field
- Three or more years of relevant industry experience
- College-level teaching experience preferred
- Master’s degree preferred
Job Duties
- Teaches assigned courses by delivering appropriate course content, preparing course materials and lesson plans, grading student work, providing timely feedback, addressing students’ questions and concerns
- Prepares and maintains course site in the learning management system for dissemination of course materials, assessments, and weekly updating of the grade center
- Maintains accurate records of student attendance, academic achievement and performance per university policies
- Distributes university-approved syllabus via learning management system including course objectives, texts, attendance policy, materials required, and evaluation criteria
- Communicates early with students, department chair, and academic counselor for students in danger of failure or needing counseling
- Refers students to university resources for guidance, financial assistance, career, library, academic support, accessibility, counseling, and other services
- Populates faculty information system with data to establish teaching credentials and maintains data
- Attends faculty orientation and meetings as requested
- Performs other duties as assigned
