Job Requirements
- Associate's degree or 2 years of college in hospitality, communications, or business
- 1 to 3 years of experience in hospitality, facility management, or event planning and coordination
- ability to obtain SERV Safe Certification
- ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- willingness to participate in on-call schedule
- ability to work in outdoor environments with possible inclement weather
- ability to tolerate elevated noise levels
Job Qualifications
- Associate's degree or 2 years of college in hospitality, communications, or business
- 1 to 3 years of experience in hospitality, facility management, or event planning and coordination
- ability to obtain SERV Safe Certification
- strong organizational skills
- excellent interpersonal communication skills
- ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Job Duties
- Coordinates all details of facility rentals and reservation planning for internal and external customers
- communicates reservation and setup needs to internal and external stakeholders
- conducts facility tours for prospective customers
- manages rental contracts and invoices
- assists in marketing and promoting the facility venues
- assists in arrangement and setups of A/V equipment and rooms, as needed
- supports events for additional Parks and Recreation and Arts divisions as required
- provides general oversight of contract custodial employees, as it pertains to reservations and setup
- performs related work as required
