Job Description
PopStroke is a founder-led brand passionately built by individuals who believe that energy drives outcomes and culture fuels momentum. It is not simply about running venues; PopStroke is dedicated to creating something extraordinary together. The brand focuses on fostering an environment where every team member is empowered with limitless potential to grow and become their best selves. Encouraging bold ideas, celebrating growth, and supporting each other through challenges are central to their philosophy. PopStroke’s culture of collaboration and ownership motivates employees to jump in, solve problems, and move the needle every day, ensuring that fun and meaningful contributions are never lost along the way. This unique mindset, driven by passion, teamwork, and accountability, is what they proudly call The PopStroke Way.
As a company operating in the entertainment and hospitality space with venues that combine golf, dining, and family fun, PopStroke values creativity, positivity, enthusiasm, and a hands-on approach to work. The core values they uphold include making work fun, bringing positive energy, rolling up sleeves to solve problems, owning responsibilities like an entrepreneur, and continuously improving to avoid monotonous routines. These values foster a workplace culture where innovation and a guest-focused mindset thrive, making each venue a welcoming and exciting place for communities to gather and enjoy their time.
The Facilities Porter role at PopStroke is essential to maintaining this high standard. This non-exempt position offers a pay rate between $16 and $18 per hour and involves working behind the scenes to keep the venue safe, spotless, and guest-ready. The individual in this position plays a vital role by ensuring every corner of the venue is clean, well-maintained, and inviting for guests. Responsibilities include conducting regular inspections, sanitizing various areas such as restrooms, dining spaces, golf courses, and kitchen areas, as well as handling waste and supplies. The Facilities Porter must be proactive in identifying hazards and maintenance needs, reporting them immediately, and assisting with storm preparedness and recovery.
Working at PopStroke means embracing a dynamic environment that requires mobility between indoor and outdoor settings and demands physical stamina. This role requires a commitment to safety protocols, teamwork, and communication, ensuring a seamless experience for guests and team members alike. The Facilities Porter is a problem solver who embraces ownership of their role, contributing directly to the safety, cleanliness, and overall guest satisfaction that distinguish PopStroke venues. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in upholding high cleanliness standards, enjoys a fast-paced environment, and desires to grow within a culture that thrives on energy and innovation.
