Job Requirements
- minimum of 3 years property maintenance experience
- must have own tools
- valid driver's license and dependable transportation strongly preferred
- physical capability to walk around the property including stairs
- ability to lift heavy items
- ability to perform various physical tasks regularly
- willingness to uphold high community standards
- reliable attendance and punctuality
Job Qualifications
- minimum of 3 years property maintenance experience
- working knowledge of HVAC systems
- familiarity with electricity, plumbing, and carpentry
- ability to handle physical tasks including walking around property and lifting heavy items
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- valid driver’s license and dependable transportation preferred
Job Duties
- manage all maintenance-related and capital improvement activities within an assigned property
- inspect, schedule and perform routine preventive maintenance on all appropriate equipment
- deal effectively with supervisors, residents, vendors and co-workers
- satisfy work orders promptly and efficiently
- demonstrate working knowledge of HVAC systems and various appliances including stoves, dishwashers, disposals, and refrigerators
- assist in the make ready process of vacant apartments
- maintain a reliable and professional presence in the community
