Job Requirements

  • minimum of 3 years property maintenance experience
  • must have own tools
  • valid driver's license and dependable transportation strongly preferred
  • physical capability to walk around the property including stairs
  • ability to lift heavy items
  • ability to perform various physical tasks regularly
  • willingness to uphold high community standards
  • reliable attendance and punctuality

Job Qualifications

  • minimum of 3 years property maintenance experience
  • working knowledge of HVAC systems
  • familiarity with electricity, plumbing, and carpentry
  • ability to handle physical tasks including walking around property and lifting heavy items
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • valid driver’s license and dependable transportation preferred

Job Duties

  • manage all maintenance-related and capital improvement activities within an assigned property
  • inspect, schedule and perform routine preventive maintenance on all appropriate equipment
  • deal effectively with supervisors, residents, vendors and co-workers
  • satisfy work orders promptly and efficiently
  • demonstrate working knowledge of HVAC systems and various appliances including stoves, dishwashers, disposals, and refrigerators
  • assist in the make ready process of vacant apartments
  • maintain a reliable and professional presence in the community
