The Facilities Supervisor (M1) is tasked with coordinating and managing a wide range of maintenance and facility activities within an automated operational setting. This role requires hands-on leadership in supervising daily maintenance operations for mechanical, electrical, automation, and related IT systems to maximize equipment reliability, uphold safety standards, and maintain optimal operational uptime. Reporting directly to site leadership, the Facilities Supervisor leads a team of skilled maintenance professionals and collaborates closely with external vendors and service providers to ensure preventive maintenance programs are executed effectively. The role also includes responsibilities such as using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS), overseeing spare parts inventory, conducting root cause analysis of equipment issues, and maintaining compliance with regulatory, safety, and security policies.

This position is a full-time, on-site role scheduled Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, based in Orlando, Florida. The Facilities Supervisor will actively promote a safety-first culture, working to align the team’s efforts with the company’s high standards in health, safety, and operational excellence. The role demands a combination of technical aptitude in mechanical and electrical systems, leadership capabilities, and strong problem-solving skills. As an integral part of McKesson’s facility operations, this supervisor will directly contribute to the efficiency and reliability of the Automated Refill Center, ensuring that the business continues to provide innovative healthcare services without interruption. Job Requirements

  • 3+ years of facilities or maintenance experience including demonstrated leadership or supervisory responsibility
  • Experience supporting mechanical, electrical, or facilities systems in a production or automated environment
  • On-site role in a production and automation-supported facility
  • Scheduled Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
  • Ability to lift and carry 20-100 lbs as required
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform hands-on troubleshooting
  • Flexibility to work occasional evening hours based on business needs
  • Minimal travel required

Job Qualifications

  • 3+ years of facilities or maintenance experience including demonstrated leadership or supervisory responsibility
  • Experience supporting mechanical, electrical, or facilities systems in a production or automated environment
  • Experience supervising maintenance or facilities teams
  • Background in automated, manufacturing, distribution, or fulfillment environments
  • Mechanical and electrical aptitude such as conveyors, PLCs, pneumatics
  • Experience with preventive maintenance programs and CMMS tools
  • Experience troubleshooting computer hardware, networks, and industrial systems
  • Strong problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and business systems
  • Experience working with vendors and external service providers

Job Duties

  • Supervise daily facilities and maintenance operations across mechanical, electrical, and automation systems
  • Provide work direction, assign priorities, resolve routine issues, and ensure completion of maintenance activities
  • Support and maintain conveyors, refrigeration systems, pneumatic systems, and facility equipment
  • Oversee site preventive maintenance programs using a computerized PM management system (CMMS)
  • Maintain accountability for spare parts inventory and usage
  • Review reports, work orders, and equipment data to identify trends and maintenance priorities
  • Coordinate vendor support for proprietary and commercial systems
  • Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain computer hardware, networks, and peripheral devices related to facility systems
  • Maintain site safety and security programs, including LOTO, hazardous waste compliance, and inspections
  • Create and maintain preventive maintenance procedures and repair documentation
  • Hire, train, coach, and develop maintenance team members
  • Promote a safety-first culture and compliance with company policies
