We are currently seeking a dependable and hardworking Facilities Porter to join the Freeman Boatworks team. This role plays a critical part in supporting the cleanliness, organization, and overall upkeep of our facility. The Facilities Porter is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment through routine groundskeeping, trash removal, and light building support tasks. This is a vital position that helps ensure that our workplace remains professional, orderly, and compliant with safety standards. The successful candidate will work closely with the facilities and maintenance team to provide consistent support in maintaining both the interior and exterior areas of the facility. Physical endurance and the ability to perform a variety of manual tasks are essential for this role, as it requires regular lifting, bending, and the capability to work at heights.

The Facilities Porter will be tasked with removing trash and recycling materials daily, maintaining exterior areas such as sidewalks, entrances, and parking lots to uphold the company’s professional appearance. Additionally, the role involves assisting with general building cleanliness and organization, helping to support a productive and safe environment for all employees. Experience in porter, janitorial, or facilities support is preferred, along with the ability to work independently and a strong work ethic. Forklift experience is considered a plus but is not mandatory.
