Job Requirements

Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in housekeeping or janitorial services preferred
Ability to stand, walk, twist, and bend for extended periods
Capacity to perform repetitive motions such as reaching, pulling, and pushing
Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds
Able to climb ladders up to 10 feet
Knowledge of safety protocols and proper use of PPE
Must maintain a professional appearance and respectful demeanor
Positive attitude and adaptability to fast-paced environments
Must be detail-oriented with strong time-management skills
Ability to follow structured cleaning schedules
Must be able to work on-site in Hollywood or Santa Monica, CA

Job Qualifications

Basic English language skills including verbal and written communication
Proficient knowledge of cleaning agents, materials and equipment
Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning and safety
Customer service-oriented attitude
Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively
Positive, teamwork mentality and cooperative work style
Communication and interpersonal skills to engage with employees and clients
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Physical agility to perform cleaning tasks and repetitive motions
Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
Basic mathematical skills are a plus

Job Duties

Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing bathrooms, kitchens, common areas
Cleaning windows, glass partitions, and mirrors
Adjusting furniture and decor items for immaculate appearance
Polishing fixtures and appliances throughout building
Monitoring and replenishing janitorial supplies in designated facility areas
Collaborating with the Office Manager to ensure supplies are available
Maintaining organized janitorial closets
Updating cleaning logs and documentation after tasks
Adhering to safety protocols including chemical and equipment usage
Surveying facility for safety hazards and reporting to Facility Manager
Responding promptly to spills or messes
Emptying trash, recycling and compost into dumpsters and bagging trash
Using discretion while working in spaces with confidential information
Performing miscellaneous housekeeping tasks including minor maintenance
Deep cleaning commercial kitchen and appliances
Covering and uncovering outside furniture
Shampooing rugs and carpets for stains
Handling special cleaning requests for events
Receiving and stocking shipments of cleaning supplies
Assisting with training new staff
Participating in emergency drills and safety training
