Job Requirements

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in housekeeping or janitorial services preferred
  • Ability to stand, walk, twist, and bend for extended periods
  • Capacity to perform repetitive motions such as reaching, pulling, and pushing
  • Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds
  • Able to climb ladders up to 10 feet
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and proper use of PPE
  • Must maintain a professional appearance and respectful demeanor
  • Positive attitude and adaptability to fast-paced environments
  • Must be detail-oriented with strong time-management skills
  • Ability to follow structured cleaning schedules
  • Must be able to work on-site in Hollywood or Santa Monica, CA

Job Qualifications

  • Basic English language skills including verbal and written communication
  • Proficient knowledge of cleaning agents, materials and equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning and safety

Job Duties

  • Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing bathrooms, kitchens, common areas
  • Cleaning windows, glass partitions, and mirrors
  • Adjusting furniture and decor items for immaculate appearance
  • Polishing fixtures and appliances throughout building
  • Monitoring and replenishing janitorial supplies in designated facility areas
  • Collaborating with the Office Manager to ensure supplies are available
  • Maintaining organized janitorial closets
  • Updating cleaning logs and documentation after tasks
  • Adhering to safety protocols including chemical and equipment usage
  • Surveying facility for safety hazards and reporting to Facility Manager
  • Responding promptly to spills or messes
  • Emptying trash, recycling and compost into dumpsters and bagging trash
  • Using discretion while working in spaces with confidential information
  • Performing miscellaneous housekeeping tasks including minor maintenance
  • Deep cleaning commercial kitchen and appliances
  • Covering and uncovering outside furniture
  • Shampooing rugs and carpets for stains
  • Handling special cleaning requests for events
  • Receiving and stocking shipments of cleaning supplies
  • Assisting with training new staff
  • Participating in emergency drills and safety training
