Job Requirements

  • Associate's degree or 4 years of demonstrated experience in hospitality and facilities management
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Capability to perform effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Required experience in facilities, hospitality, event management, communications, or project management
  • Some travel may be required to the Chicago Corporate Office

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or 8 years of demonstrated experience in hospitality and facilities management
  • Experience in customer service and event coordination
  • Demonstrated planning and organizational skills in fast-paced environments
  • Excellent oral and written communication abilities
  • Capability to collaborate effectively with employees and guests at all organizational levels
  • Proficiency in identifying and resolving issues and communicating innovative solutions

Job Duties

  • Greet associates and guests and actively support associates' facilities needs
  • Schedule and coordinate associate social events and create communication materials in partnership with communications
  • Partner with corporate events team and business areas to provide facility support for large meetings and events
  • Ensure building-specific operational requirements are met for each event such as elevators and HVAC
  • Submit trouble tickets, work orders, and requisitions and understand all building safety procedures
  • Organize, coordinate and implement assignments related to meetings and events
  • Ensure the office and meeting rooms are tidy and fully equipped
