Job Requirements

- Relevant experience in facility or utilities engineering
- Strong analytical and technical skills
- Ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical systems

Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field
- Experience with facility engineering, HVAC, refrigeration, or utilities management
- Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Knowledge of energy conservation and risk management principles
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Familiarity with Building Management Systems such as Metasys
Job Duties
- Provide expert technical depth and troubleshooting to facility and utilities equipment while supported by a senior facilities engineer
- Identify potential value-adding projects in cost, capacity, efficiency, risk management, energy and water conservation using technical and business analysis skills
- Support 24-hour facility and utility equipment through troubleshooting focusing on HVAC, refrigeration, water, power, fire and life safety systems, and specialty gases
- Contribute to successful project team outcomes ensuring projects are on time, within cost, and meet objectives
- Create, conduct and update maintenance procedures and training to ensure understanding of operation theory and optimal maintenance practices
- Initiate, lead or contribute to process improvement, development, characterization projects including pilot, design and validation activities
- Develop, maintain and oversee campus drawings including record drawings, red-lines, as-builts, and graphics from BMS/Metasys
