Job Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent
  • Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays
  • Experience in the hospitality industry or similar environment
  • 6+ months of prior dispatch experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Manage computerized maintenance management systems to prioritize, manage and dispatch maintenance team
  • complete assigned administrative tasks on a consistent basis
  • Recognize required needs of a fast-paced environment by using good judgment and the ability to multi-task
  • own all requests and complaints
  • resolve issues immediately and follow up to ensure the guest's satisfaction
  • answer incoming calls and assist when necessary or direct calls to appropriate areas
  • Practice teamwork, create a positive work environment, greet fellow employees and thank them when they lend assistance
  • anticipate guests' needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests, no matter how busy or time of day
  • prioritize guest requests/dispatches
  • Be knowledgeable of department and hotel goals
  • knowledgeable of hotel information to answer guest inquiries, and work under minimal supervision to complete tasks in a timely manner
  • Maintain a constant awareness of personal and property cleanliness, safety and accident prevention
  • Perform other job-related duties as requested
