Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience
- Minimum 5 years facilities management or related experience
- Proven leadership and staff management abilities
- Strong background in trades such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing
- Project management capability
- Proficient in budgeting and financial management
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including on-call emergency response
- Physically able to meet demands of standing, lifting, and working in varied conditions
- Valid driver’s license
- Commitment to safety and regulatory compliance
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in facilities management, engineering, business management, or equivalent experience
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Project management experience
- Budgeting and strong math skills
- Expertise in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building finishes

- Knowledge of laws and regulations related to facilities management
- Familiarity with construction, architecture, and building systems

Job Duties
- Ensure member satisfaction by supporting BCC staff needs
- Collaborate openly with BCC operations team
- Oversee and direct facilities staff and departmental operations
- Maintain safety and security for all persons and property
- Write and maintain facilities department operational and capital budgets
- Manage and maintain business relationships with contractors
- Oversee maintenance and operation of HVAC, commercial appliances, elevators, and building systems
- Develop and manage preventive and corrective maintenance plans
- Plan and manage construction, remodeling, and facility additions
- Ensure fire safety and code compliance
- Manage utilities including electrical, natural gas, water/sewer, and kitchen grease systems
- Oversee fire communication, security camera, burglar alarm, phone, internet, emergency line, cable and satellite systems
- Maintain care and repair of furniture, fixtures, and equipment
- Manage interior and exterior cosmetic upkeep of all buildings
- Provide on-call emergency response availability
