Job Requirements
- No custodial experience required
- excellent work ethic and customer service
- superior attendance and reliable transportation
- ability to lift/move garbage bags and recycling boxes and push/roll recycling bins
- ability to walk, bend, stoop, and stand for long periods of time
- ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
- dependable, positive, and team orientated
Job Qualifications
- Experience in facility maintenance and groundskeeping
- knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, and HVAC
- strong problem-solving skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- proficiency with basic computer systems
- Spanish or Portuguese language skills a plus
- flexibility for occasional emergency calls or weekend events
Job Duties
- Tackling general repairs like plumbing, electrical, and carpentry
- painting walls and patching up small repairs
- troubleshooting and maintaining HVAC systems
- caring for lawn, mulching, trimming, fertilizing, and maintaining irrigation systems
- coordinating with vendors for pool, golf carts, and vehicles maintenance
- logging maintenance and scheduling preventive care using systems like SchoolDude
- supporting event preparation and campus readiness
