Job Requirements
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national of the U.S., an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer

- Experience in logistics, dispatch, or operations coordination preferred

- Proficiency with data entry systems and shipment tracking software is advantageous

Job Duties
- Dispatch drivers and agents for pickups, deliveries, drop offs and recoveries at the airport, broker, vendor or client sites
- Ensure imports recovery and domestic transfers are made
- Ensure that all export and domestic drops are made on time
- Send pre-alerts to Marken office or agents concerned
- Responsible for reviewing appropriate documentation, labeling and markings as included with each shipment
- Advise pickups and deliveries delays in a timely manner
- Responsible for preparing the next flight outbound shipments
- Responsible for replenishing with proper weight of dry ice on those shipments that require dry ice, as well as those that require gel packs for temperature chain of custody
- Confirm pieces, weights and dimensions after each collection and enter them in Maestro
- Any late pick up or missed flights must be brought to the supervisor attention and email customer service
- Enter PODs in Maestro
- Responsible for scanning, packaging, labeling in-bound shipments before tendering for final destination, either domestic or international shipping
- Pick up the phone before 3rd ring
- Ensure that all route legs are complete with all needed operational details and costs estimates entered in Maestro
- Answer domestic and international internal quotes
- Check import and export paperwork to make sure they are complete
- Post flight all departure to make sure shipments left on booked flight
- Liaise with customs brokers to pre alert imports and follow up on clearance status
- Responsible for performing other duties as required helping the operations team complete daily tasks
